Our History |
I began training in martial arts in Mumbai, India a long time ago, and then continued in Virginia, United States when I was an undergraduate there. I trained in the Korean art of Tae Kwon Do in Danville, Virginia, and then continued it when I moved to Boston for graduate school. Later, in Toronto, I began training in various styles of Kung Fu like Tai Chi Chuan, which can be used to enhance health and also for self defense.
I have also trained in animal style Kung Fu, which impressed me for its ability to repel the attack of larger opponents. I thus began training harder in this style, and began to build it up into an art that I can impart to youngsters, who in turn can use it to defend themselves if the need arises. All this makes a very fun way to learn to defend yourself, in just a few months. I attained my black belt in Tae Kwon Do in Virginia in October 2016, after 22 years of training in martial arts in various cities in North America. |
